My name is Michele and I’m a Mixed Media Artist, creative anorak and eater of much carrot cake!
I love to experiment with different materials whether getting messy with tea/coffee and ink or manipulating images in Adobe Creative Suite.
My main focus, though I will have a go at any subject matter, is on nature, especially British Wildlife. This stems from being a very lucky lady having spent a childhood living at a farm and being surrounded by lots of flora and fauna.
I get a buzz from learning something new in art and I soak up new techniques… sometimes with disastrous results, but often resulting in something unique and quirky.
My free and creative spirit has rebelled more recently (it’s an age thing) and I’ve decided to put all my energies into my own artwork rather than doing graphic designs for others. I felt that in doing this it restrained my creative flow and went against my own art style!
Coming Soon! My hubby and I are setting up a gallery coffee shop in 2018 (back end). Click here for more details.
My birthplace is Australia, though I have lived for the majority of my life in the UK, hence the link to Roo and I ‘occasionally’ get a little feisty, hence the link to Red.
